How to Use for Network Cable Testing

  1. Connect the Cable:
    Insert the RJ45 connectors at both ends of the network cable into the corresponding ports of the transmitter and receiver.

  2. Set the Test Mode:
    Turn the function selector switch of the transmitter to the "test" position. The "VERIFY" indicator will light up, indicating that the transmitter is working.

  3. Test and Analyze:
    The 18 sequence lights on the device will help you identify if there is a short circuit, open circuit, or crossover. The tester will automatically scan the cable, checking pairs 1 through 8 to identify any issues.

  4. Switch Between Fast and Slow Scanning:
    You can toggle between fast and slow scan modes using the "switch" button for quicker or more detailed testing.
